Vanessa Ioannoni graduated in Political Science from La Sapienza University and has been working as a researcher at the Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT, Italy) since 2001. She works at the Central Directorate for social statistics and welfare, where her research mainly deals with Equality data and the so called hard-to-reach populations (Roma; Homeless). She represents Italy in the Subgroup on Equality Data that is facilitated by the European Commission and coordinated by the Fundamental Rights Agency. Vanessa is the author and co-author of national and international scientific publications. She also holds a Specialization in Methods and Techniques for Social Research.
