Chair of EQUINET, Ombudswoman of Croatia
Tena Šimonović Einwalter is the Ombudswoman of Croatia and the Chair of the Executive Board of the European Network of Equality Bodies (EQUINET), as well as Chair of Equinet’s Project on standards for equality bodies. She is a member of the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) and is ECRI’s co-representative to the Council of Europe’s Ad hoc Committee on Artificial Intelligence (CAHAI). She was also Chair of ECRI’s Working Group on the GPR 2 on Equality Bodies and an alternate Management Board Member of the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA). She graduated in Law from the University of Zagreb, holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Zagreb, a Master’s degree in European and Comparative Law from the University of Oxford and was awarded the Diploma of the International Institute for Human Rights in Strasbourg.”
