Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs
Erle Inderhaug is senior advisor in the Analysis Department at the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Bufdir). Bufdir is responsible for services relating to child welfare, family counselling, adoption, violence in close relationships, equality, and non-discrimination. Inderhaug works with statistics and analysis of equality and discrimination, mainly related to gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.
Inderhaug has a master’s degree in political science from the University of Oslo. She wrote her thesis on Gender balance in European corporate boards at Arena – Centre for European Studies. Later, Inderhaug contributed a chapter to a book on the Europeanization of Nordic equality policies.
